This recipe idea came from her, she has a staple chicken salad recipe that she makes weekly, and we get really creative with 100 million ways we can eat it. This is where it all begins. Well, for me it was actually Melissa and Dallas Hartwig's first book, It Starts With Food, but that's more of a nutrition book than a cookbook so it's not on this list. The Whole30 book is an upgrade from that, with even better meal planning and cooking resources. No doubt that the official Whole30 Cookbook, which was released in 2016, is also a good one to keep in your kitchen. I'd like to get my hands on that one soon. Buy it here.
The cover for this cookbook may make it seem fairly unappealing. But, as is often the case, that concept isn’t accurate at all. Instead, Nom Nom Paleo is a very popular paleo cookbook, with more than 100 different recipes on offer. Unusually, the cookbook has considerably more images than recipes, meaning you get amazing visual instructions of the entire cooking process.

Why eat crap food when you don't have to? Better yet, why eat healthy food that doesn't taste good? There's no need to do that eve...r again with Juli Bauer's Paleo Cookbook. New York Times bestselling author of The Paleo Kitchen and creator of the popular website PaleOMG, Juli is a well-known Paleo cook who creates meals that are sure to please the whole family. And this cookbook is her best one yet! Absolutely no one will complain when you serve them delicious dishes like Breakfast Tacos, Buffalo Chicken Casserole, Slow Cooker Short Rib Tostadas, Pistachio Rosemary Lamb Chops, and Layered Flourless Chocolate Cake. For most people, the Paleo or "caveman" diet seems unrealistic. "You expect me not to eat cake anymore?" was Juli's first reaction. (There may have been a few curse words thrown in there, too.) For Juli, that just wasn't going to work. We all understand that cavemen didn't eat cake back in the day, but we're here in the future, and we can create Paleo-friendly cakes. So Juli ventured out to put a new spin on eating like a caveman. After two weeks of eating Paleo, she knew she was in it for the long haul. She has been eating Paleo for five years now, and she consistently gives her readers Paleo recipes that bring back childhood meal memories or just bring back the foods they love the most. There's no need to be a true, pretentious caveman if you don't have to be! We see you using Instagram over there, you modern caveman, you. Paleo is about so much more than just food. To Juli, Paleo is what gave her the freedom to feel healthy, energetic, and enthusiastic about life. And that's exactly what she is trying to bring to you in this cookbook. She hopes not only to help you revamp your kitchen and excite your taste buds, but also to help you feel confident with the new lifestyle you've taken on. read more
Devotees of the paleo diet believe that the way our paleolithic ancestors ate—mostly protein, fat, and fibrous vegetables, and no processed food—is what our bodies are best adapted to metabolize. The paleo diet champions high-quality meats, such as grass-fed beef, and seafood as well as heart good fats and an abundance of produce. Many advocates report higher energy and a greater overall sense of well-being while on the diet. We encourage you to consult your physician or dietitian to determine if paleo is right for you.

This recipe for a healthy alternative adds a fiber boost in the form of diced vegetables, like radishes and cabbage. If you pack along four or five large butter lettuce leaves, you can leave your fork at home and scoop up the chicken with them.

Description: The Keto Cookbook is a cookbook for those using the diet to treat epilepsy and other neurologic conditions. The book contains 96 recipes grouped by breakfast and brunch, appetizers & snacks, lunch, dinner, and sweets and treats. The book includes a 16-page color insert illustrating each recipe. Since many children start the Keto Diet before they speak, the pictures of the meal and snack options allow children to choose what they want, helping overcome food refusal due to lack of variety of foods and/or child’s loss of control over food options. This book provides parents and children with options that have been tested and are kid- and Registered Dietitian- approved.
Usually spaghetti and meatballs is something that you would have to forgo when you eat the Paleo way. That’s because noodles just aren’t something you can eat, at least the traditional type. This spaghetti and meatballs recipe makes some key changes so that you can enjoy this classic dish without worrying about eating wheat or grains. The spaghetti is made from squash so it is not real spaghetti at all, and may taste a little different, but should give you the overall feel of spaghetti and meatballs. If you can get used to these small changes it will make a big difference on your waistline.
One of the best features of this book is that it has pairing and variations of ingredients that you can use. And if you're going Paleo, sometimes it can be hard to pick what ingredients are Paleo "compatible" that are available on your cupboard or available in a local grocery near you. The meals are easy to prepare and delicious. This book emphasizes on meal planning and preparation which helps you save a lot of time.
